Position Overview
As an Experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) at OSC, you will be on the front lines of our revenue engine, contributing directly to our transition into a SaaS-focused company. Your core mission is to identify, qualify, and nurture leads, building a robust pipeline for our Account Executives. Collaborating closely with both sales and marketing, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospects, effectively communicating how OSC’s state-of-the-art simulation solutions address their unique challenges.
You’ll leverage your expertise in sales and domain knowledge—smart cities, urban development, and other relevant civic or municipal applications—to engage prospective clients worldwide. This role offers an opportunity to meaningfully impact OSC’s growth trajectory in the exciting world of simulation, virtual prototyping, and digital twin technologies.

• On-site (location: Ålesund, Norway) or Hybrid remote with regular travel to office
• (Some travel may be required, depending on project and event needs.)
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
• Research and identify potential leads through LinkedIn, industry events, conferences, and specialized databases.
• Initiate contact with prospects via phone calls, emails, and social channels to introduce OSC’s SaaS-based solutions.
2. Lead Qualification
• Quickly assess inbound and outbound leads against OSC’s ideal customer profile.
• Conduct needs analyses to uncover customer pain points and present relevant OSC offerings to address them.
3. Pipeline & Calendar Management
• Schedule virtual meetings and product demos with qualified leads for Account Executives.
• Maintain a structured follow-up process to ensure timely outreach and conversion at each pipeline stage.
4. CRM & Data Integrity
• Accurately document interactions, next steps, and key insights in the CRM (HubSpot).
• Ensure your pipeline remains clean and up to date, so no lead is overlooked.
5. Collaboration & Feedback
• Work closely with marketing to align on lead generation campaigns and share insights on lead quality.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and technical teams to ensure prospects receive the right demos and resources.
6. Continuous Improvement
• Stay current with OSC’s evolving product suite, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Refine your outreach techniques, share best practices with teammates, and actively seek feedback on your performance.
Qualifications
1. Experience
• Proven track record in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar role within SaaS, simulation, or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success generating and qualifying leads to meet or exceed targets.
2. Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Domain Expertise
• Simulation & Virtual Prototyping: Understanding of how digital twin technology and simulation tools can optimize operations.
• Key Industries: Familiarity with offshore renewables, maritime applications, and smart city solutions.
• Technical Knowledge: Comfort discussing software solutions in complex operational environments, including risk management and efficiency optimization.
4. Core Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple leads and tasks with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) and related engagement tools.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
5. Additional Advantages
